A bit of TC Vitality’s (NYSE:TRP) NGTL pure gasoline pipeline system Alberta exploded ~25 miles from Edson, Alberta, on Tuesday, triggering a small wildfire, World Information reported.
The pipeline caught hearth late Tuesday morning, sending up a big plume of flames and smoke seen from a number of kilometers away, in response to the report.
TC Vitality (TRP) mentioned it remoted and shut down a piece of the NGTL pure gasoline pipeline system after receiving notification of an incident at ~11 a.m. MT, inflicting it to activate emergency response procedures.
The Canada Vitality Regulator mentioned it’s sending inspectors to supervise the corporate’s response.
The NGTL is TC Vitality’s (TRP) pure gasoline gathering and transportation system for the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, and connects with the Canadian Mainline system, Foothills system and different third-party pipelines.
